Leadership Training

Faith Bible Church is committed to training the next generation of Pastors, Deacons and Church-Planters through leadership training that is truly church-based. The model is local church leaders training other men in the context of ministry, focusing on character development and ministry skills, as well as sound theology. We offer intense leadership training simultaneously at various levels.

FBC YOUTH Ministries Site

See what's going on at Faith Bible Church for Jr. and Sr. High Students.  The Youth Ministry exists to help believing students GROW in their faith, to EQUIP students, their parents, and other adults for ministry, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to WORSHIP God and honor Him with their lives, and to REACH non-believing students.

Our Student Ministry encompasses grades 6 through 12.  The following opportunities are currently available:

          Sunday School Classes at 9:15 a.m. every week
          Wednesday Evening Bible Studies at 7 p.m.
          Fall and Winter Retreats
          Summer Camp
          Mission Exposure Trips
          Special Activities planned monthly

College and Career Crossroads Ministry

The College and Career Ministry at Faith Bible aims to reach out to young adults to incorporate them in a church body.  They have Sunday Morning class during the first service and weekly Thursday night studies and monthly activities.  Click on the link to learn more!

Children's Ministry

Faith Bible Church has developed a biblically-based ordered learning curriculum for children ages pre-school to 5th grade.

AWANA Ministry

We have chosen AWANA as a tool to continue to develop children.  Even though we do not endorse all that AWANA suggests, we follow this ministry in many areas.  The AWANA group meets on Sunday evenings during the school year from 6:00 - 7:30p.m. and has classes for ages 2 years old through 6th grade. Men's Ministry

Faith Bible Church offers the following training and fellowship opportunities for the men in our body:

          - Men's Leadership Training - various levels (See Above)
          - Monthly Saturday morning men's meetings
          - Occasional Men's Retreats
           

Women's Ministry

Our Women's Ministry Team oversees the opportunities available to the women at Faith Bible Church.  These presently include:

          GROW Friday morning Bible Study
          Monthly Evening Fellowships
          Women's Retreats
          Personal Discipleship
          Seasonal Gatherings

 F.L.O.C.K.s

FLOCKs are weekly Bible Studies that take place in the homes of FBC members all throughout Stark County. These studies are designed for Fellowship, Leadership, Outreach, Caring and Knowledge. These studies allow our church family to have a presence in the community while providing weekly opportunities to participate in vital "one-another" fellowship. FLOCKs are held at on various days throughout the week. 

Music Ministry

The Faith Worship Prompters is a group of dedicated musicians striving to prompt the local church body to offer up worship to our great God in spirit (pneuma, "breath") and truth (aletheia, "not concealing", John 4:23 & 24).  They gather together on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. for prayer, study of God's Word, fellowship and then worship music rehearsal.   

Faith Bible Life Class

We offer a twelve-week class for those who wish to become better acquainted with the practices, doctrines, and functioning of Faith Bible Church.  This is also an opportunity to meet other new people in this body of believers.

  
Nursing Home Ministry

The mission of the Nursing Home Ministry is to reach the residents of our local nursing homes with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ and to minister to them through the teaching of God’s Word and personal contact. This ministry involves group Bible studies presented every other week or monthly at each nursing home.  The sessions last about 45 minutes and involve sharing of prayer requests, singing, and a lesson from God’s Word.  Download a Nursing Home Ministry brochure here. 


Friendship Center

This ministry reaches into Canton and meets the needs of special people in our area.  Some aspects of this ministry include: Monday evening Bible Study, monthly dinners and message and a Sunday School class geared to their needs.

Radio Ministry

In an effort to reach out to our community with the Gospel of Christ, we record the Sunday Worship Service and broadcast it on WNPQ 95.9 FM, "The Light". Weekdays 10:00 - 10:30a.m. Click here for the weekday program schedule on 95.9 FM.

 Missions

The missions policy at Faith Bible Church is founded on God's revealed plan to redeem mankind and reestablish His sovereign rule within their lives.  It is our desire to raise up servants from within Faith Bible who have faithfully ministered within this body.  Our goal is to train, equip, support and send out individuals and teams committed to sharing God's good news of redemption.  We consider it a high privilege and awesome responsibility to be a "sending church" in planting churches among other ethnic groups of the world.  (Visit our Missions Page.)

Faith Bible Bookstore

The store is a ministry of the church, with the objective of making excellent Christian literature available and affordable for our church family and the wider community.  Every item in our store is discounted substantially; most are at least 20-30% off the normal retail price.  So come get your latest book, read it, learn from it, apply it, and teach others!  Click here to visit the store homepage.

Food Pantry

Faith Bible Church maintains a food pantry for distribution to those in need.  Shelves are stocked by donations given by members of our church body.
